Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026
Your privacy matters to me. This policy outlines how I collect, use, and protect any personal information you share while visiting this site, subscribing to my newsletter, or getting in touch.

Information We Collect

When you sign up for my newsletter, purchase a book, or reach out through the contact form, I collect the personal information you provide — your name, email address, and any message you send.

I may also collect non-personal information through standard web analytics tools, such as browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data helps me understand how people engage with the content here.

How I Use Your Information

Your email is used to send newsletters, book announcements, and occasional updates about my work. You can unsubscribe at any time — every email includes a link to do so.

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry. I do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site experience. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

I use Substack for my newsletter and essays. When you subscribe through that platform, their privacy policy also applies. I recommend reviewing it at substack.com.

Book purchases processed through Amazon or physical retailers are subject to their respective privacy policies. I do not handle or store payment information directly.

Analytics tools I use (such as Google Analytics) may set their own cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time via their opt-out browser add-on.

Data Retention & Security

Your information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically for the duration of your newsletter subscription or until you request deletion.

I take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data. However, no transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information I hold about you. To make a request, please reach out through the contact form on this site.

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
